Freelance Multimedia Designer
Welcome, my name is David ‘Ed’ Edwards, I am a freelance multimedia designer with an unhealthy obsession for sharks, design, illustration and music... anything creative infact.
My approach to design is based on the combination of three simple things: passion, no-nonsense and a constant desire to improve, which I believe to be reflected in the examples of work showcased on this web site.
I relish fresh challenges, feeling I have alot to prove as a designer. I aim to do so by exploring new ventures and building on my skillset wherever possible, with a particular interest in marine research/conservation, and the games industry.

Marine Research | My involvement
One of my most passionate subjects (and the very reason I became freelance in the first place) is environmental research and conservation, marine wildlife in particular.
Although I've always been a bit of an animal lover, it wasn't until working hands on with nature's finest work of art 'The Great White Shark', and subsequently learning about the many issues surrounding wildlife research and conservation that I realised how passionate I was about the subject.

With numerous communicative mediums available and such a high density of competition so many industries, it's more important than ever that you have the right tools for the job.
No two individuals or businesses are ever the same, and my focus is on developing multimedia (such as web sites, illustrations, advertising materials and 3D graphics) which are truly unique to the requirements and character of every single client.
